The revenue split is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on several factors, such as:
- The amount of upfront work we’ve done to design and build the course
- The level of risk involved (how profitable is your niche, how established is your expertise)
- The course price
- How evergreen your course content is, or if it will require regular changes and updates
- Additional revenue opportunities (e.g., upsells like one-on-one sessions or premium content)
We’ll agree on a fair percentage that reflects the effort and value both sides contribute before any work begins.
Yes, if you want your own branded learning platform, you’ll be expected to cover the platform’s basic monthly cost until your course/s generates profit.
By joining our shared branded platform, you avoid monthly platform costs. However, the platform will not carry your unique brand identity—it’s part of a collaborative space we manage.
You retain full ownership of your original intellectual property. The produced materials—such as videos, assessments, and platform design—are co-developed assets.
If the partnership ends, neither party will use these materials without mutual agreement, ensuring fairness and protection for both sides.
During our initial phase, based on your application, we conduct a thorough market assessment, evaluating demand, competition, and pricing potential to ensure your course is set up for success.
As your partner, we provide ongoing customer service support to your learners, platform updates and marketing. We monitor your course’s learner engagement data, and schedule in regular partnership check ins to ensure quality and profitability for us both.
Most projects take between three to six months, from planning to launch, depending on complexity.
Marketing is tailored to each Ethical Rebel partnership. In the planning phase, we work together to define the right strategy for your target audience. With my background in marketing (including digital) and PR, I offer both strategic guidance and hands-on support to help your course grow and succeed.
However, since it’s your course and you’re the face of it, you’ll need to play an active role in promoting it and engaging with your audience for the best results.
We take care of the entire platform setup and provide ongoing tech support, so you can focus on sharing your expertise and engaging with learners.
The largest cost of creating and launching your course or platform is our time, and the most costly phase of any project is the development i.e. the build. We place strong emphasis on the early analysis, planning and design phases to avoid making lots of changes during the development phase.
Under our partnership model, we are willing to give our time, software and expertise for free if your business case figures make sense. This includes an agreed percentage of the course’s profits for a set period of time (i.e. three years) when the agreement can be mutually reviewed.
We aim to keep costs as lean as possible. However, there will be unavoidable direct ongoing costs such as the platform itself (if you require your own branded platform). Depending on the spec your course requires, this could cost anything from £20 a month to £250.
